Native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution
This projector’s native WXGA resolution is ideal for use with latest-generation widescreen computers and high definition content. Its native 16:10 aspect ratio allows you to fully utilize the capabilities of your widescreen notebook, giving you 30 percent more usable area than a regular 4:3 image and 10 percent more than a 16:9 image. The PowerLite 400W still offers the flexibility of displaying 4:3 and 16:9 images, as needed.

Short throw distance
This projector's short throw distance makes it perfect for mounting on a wall, which ensures an easier, more affordable installation. The length of the cables and the time needed for installation are reduced, while the working area in the classroom is enlarged with more space for the students and more freedom of movement for the presenter. With a short throw distance and high, off-set, wall installation, the PowerLite 400W displays large images at a very close distance, allowing presenters to fully utilize an interactive whiteboard (IWB) without creating shadows or having light from the projector shine in their eyes. IWBs are increasingly utilized in classrooms and meeting rooms as they allow you to share and capture information quickly and easily via an integrated software and computer connection. IWBs capture all whiteboard notes and allow you to instantly save, publish, print or e-mail those notes to others.
