The HD videoconference (VC) suite at the Inland AV, 422 Lucas Avenue, Winnipeg location is available for public bookings. Many organizations rent the Inland AV VC suites at any of our five locations for job interviews, training sessions and sales meetings.
The VC suite is based on state-of-the-art Cisco technology and is capable of both ISDN and IP VC sessions and can connect to any endpoint system. While most VC sessions are meetings with one other person (1 endpoint) this system is capable of connecting multiple systems simultaneously.
The VC suite features two high definition 60" Sharp monitors. As pictured below, one monitor can display the person that is connected and the other monitor displays one of the participants lap top computers. There are many variations that can be implemented in a VC session. The second monitor can display a computer signal from either endpoint or many other devices such as a video presentation or document camera. A document camera can take a small physical object and enlarge it on the second monitor so that both people can see it and discuss.
In a multi-point VC session one or both of the screens can be scaled so that all of the people participating in the session can be seen at the same time.
