Gordie Howe honoured by Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon

Gordie Howe Tribute to Mr. Hockey

The Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon held their 55th Annual Kinsmen Sports Celebrity Dinner - A Tribute to Mr. Hockey at TCU Place. Honouring Gordie Howe in Saskatoon was a major must attend event and Mr. Howe had his sons and many other great hockey players on stage with him. The very special guest was Wayne Gretzky who was inspired as a kid meeting Gordie Howe.

This exceptional event also brought out the best in Inland AV's Saskatoon staff. "When we heard the details of the event we knew we had to come up with a spectacular stage set up. The set up included a 90 foot backdrop screen as well as image magnification and video banner screens. Our cameras and editors also supplied the video coverage of the event to all media outlets and received national attention." commented Allana Johnson, Inland AV, Saskatoon Operations Manager.

The event staging included 18 projectors: edge blended main graphic, additional image magnification screens and the vertical banners. The vertical banners in the photo below are video projection screens. They have Mr. Howe's number "9" in the photo but the screens displayed other content throughout the night. Similarly the three screens in the photo below with the "4 Time Stanley Cup Winner" graphic also displayed other video content during the evening's presentation.
