History

Inland Broadcasting, now operating as Inland Audio Visual, was established in Winnipeg, 1937. Magnetic tape recorders were introduced to the western Canadian broadcast industry by Inland AV.

An office in Saskatoon was opened in 1973 and became the first full service audiovisual company in Saskatchewan. The Regina location was in operation in 1979.

1989 saw the entry of Inland AV into the Alberta market, with a presence in Calgary. By 1990, the Calgary branch was operating as a full service AV provider.

Service to the Alberta market was improved when a branch was established in Edmonton in 1990.

The Winnipeg head office moved into a purpose built location in the Summer of 2011(see the photo of our new building at the top of the page).
